My Bookshelf
For each patient or family member, I often recommend a variety of books to support the work we do at the practice. Whether you come in for a consultation or weekly services, lasting progress comes from day-to-day efforts. As Robert Collier said, 'Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.'
I believe that understanding the science of human behavior and motivation is a powerful tool. I’ve seen firsthand that consuming knowledge yourself has a far more powerful impact than simply being told what to do; it puts you in the driver’s seat of your own change. This list features my favorite resources for navigating life, fostering personal growth, and optimizing cognitive well-being.
Some of you may be thinking… but, I don’t have time to read. I know the feeling! Many of my recommended readings are available as audiobooks. Try listening to a book while going for a walk, doing household tasks, or on your daily commute. I have a feeling that once you get started, you’ll feel motivated to keep going.
